Our Projects
Restoration goals
WHAT WE FOCUS ON
The Trust’s work spans several interconnected areas of restoration, all aimed at improving ecosystem health across the Headland and surrounding catchments.
-
Sustained control of animal pests is central to enabling native species to recover. The Trust focuses on maintaining low pest densities across a large, connected area.
-
Planting and maintenance of native species helps rebuild habitat, stabilise land and support long-term biodiversity recovery.
-
Targeted management of high-priority invasive plants reduces pressure on native vegetation and prevents further spread.
-
Ongoing monitoring helps track outcomes, guide decision-making and demonstrate the effectiveness of restoration efforts.
